Boys Baseball
Filed by AlexV on Wednesday, May 3, 2006
The boys baseball team travelled down to Millwood baseball diamond yesterday, and they were not happy. But those frowns quickly turned to smiles with the 8-0 crushing of Martingrove. The boys played extraordinarily well against a skilled Martingrove squad. Special mention to Andrew Watson, who had a no-hitter going to the last inning, but thanks to Ryan Flannigan, could not complete the task. Also, Brett "meals on wheels" Sanders, for his physical play. Ryan Pinas for his inside the pucker, and Kyle Gilligan for hitting it over a wall that he had no business hitting over. Practice tonight at 3:45.

Congratulations to the baseball team on their president setting win against Richview. Laying the smackdown 15-nill, the boys were not messing around. Mention to Dan Mac for throwing a complete game shutout, and Kyle Skilligan Gilligan hitting for the cycle, a feat which is rarely accomplished. The boys have a game against Martingrove, so they get out at 1:35 and meet in the lot.
