Congratulations to the Boys Lacrosse Team for their win on Friday against Agincoort CI. Our boys won 18 - 5. Excellently excellent job ECI!

Our Junior Rams completed their division on top standings undefeated with 16 points; they scored 25 goals and allowed only 4 goals. We won our last game in the qualifying round on Friday evening, beating Thistletown Collegiate 2 goals to none; goal scorers were Edmundo Rodrigues and Allan Singh. The Rams play their Quarter-Final game on our home ground on Thursday against George Harvey Collegiate. Well done Rams!!

The ECI Tank is going to be raising some money, so come tomorrow at lunch at the back of the school for a barbecue. Burgers will be $3, there are also sausages, veggie dogs, and drinks. Enough ketchup too!

On Thursday, a small group of ECI's Track Team competed in the Prestigious Cardinal Carter Track Meet against 115 schools and 2000 athletes. Special congratulations to the following athlestes on their exceptional performances in their events: Jill Stratton - 6th place, David Beaumont - 5th place, Larah Maunder - 4th place, and Kirk Scheibelhut and Shemon Tyson for their silver medals. Taking the gold medal in the triple jump with an outstanding effort was Alanah Stewart. Excellent work ECI!

Yesterday the Ultimate Frisbee Team played the much feared Martin Grove on ECI's home field. Point after point, ECI went on to defeat Martin Grove 17 - 8. Excellent job ECI!

The Ultimate team played a very intense game against Silverthorn's A team yesterday. After starting off badly, the team took control and achieved an undefeated victory of 11 - 8.

Our Junior Rams Soccer Team played their third game on Friday evening on our home ground. Our boys, again, maintained their winning streak achieving a 5 - 0 victory over Lakeshore Collegiate. Goal scorers were Ondrej Kacmar 3, Andre Orlando 1, and Elvis Xhemini 1. Well done Junior Rams, and the next game is with Martingrove Collegiate tomorrow on our home ground.

This past weekend, a group of 20 grade 10, 11 and 12 students along with several teachers partook in the 6th Annual Albion Hill Grade 8 Leadership Camp. The camp was extremely successful and a special thanks goes out to Ms. Ison, Mr. Steponas, Mr. Mullington, Dr. Smale, Ms. Malo, and Ms. Oxley who were the dedicated teachers involved in planning the camp. Also, a thank you goes out to the exec who were responsible for leading the groups of leaders who planned daily activity, and it wouldn't have been possible without you. ECI has a solid group of leaders coming down the pipe next year and we are definitely looking forward to welcoming them to our school in September of 2007.

Yesterday ECI's Waterpolo team played their first game against Newton Brook. As a result of a very close and exciting game, ECI won 11-10 in the 4th quarter. Great job ECI!
