IF YOU HAVE TYPE "A" BLOOD, PATIENTS IN TORONTO NEED YOUR HELP NOW!


While there is a continuous need for all blood types, there is an URGENT need for Type "A" blood, due to high demand coupled with lower than usual turnout at blood donor clinics due to bad weather.


Canadian blood services is asking people with Type-A-Blood to call: 1888 2 Donate (1 888 236-6283) today and book an appointment to donate blood and save lives.

The University of Toronto, faculty of Medicine will be holding an Open House on Saturday March 3rd from 10:00am to 3:30pm in the Medical Scene Building. There will be interesting speakers, admissions information and afternoon hand-on workshops. Students and parents are welcomed.

ECI will now have a blue box recycling program for cans and bottles, there will be a blue box in every classroom for students to use.

Please do not put any paper or garbage in the blue bins, just cans and bottles, and please only put paper in the gray boxes.

Travel to Ireland, England, Scotland, and Italy in July 2007 and gain a high school credit.
Celtic Learning conducts credit courses in Oxford, Dublin, Galway, Cork, Edinburgh, Rome, and Tuscany during the summer. Courses accredited by District School Boards.
There is an information session at HumberSide Collegiate, 280 Quebec Ave. on Thursday February 8th at 7pm all are welcome.

This is a reminder for all swim team members of the next meet Monday, February 5 at Weston Collegiate. Swimmers will be excused from class at 1:30pm and should meet outside at the bottom of the ramp.

Monday is the last day to bring in your pledge forms, they are to be delivered to the Caf at lunch on Monday with the permission forms and a minimum of 25$ in donations. There will be a meeting Tuesday for the time and place listen to announcements. The spots are limited.

On February 5th there will be a lecturer from the University of Waterloo at ECU to run a Math Enrichment Session for Senior Students. The focus of the session will be on Contest Preperation and Recreational Math.

All students will have received a copy of their timetable in homeroom on Friday. The only students who will be affected are those who are taking Civics, Careers and ESL. If you did not receive a copy of your timetable you can pick one up in the office.

In the showcase outside Student Services there is a list of the community service hours recorded for all possible June 1007 graduates. Please make sure that you check this list and report any descrepancies to Student Services. This is your responsibility.
